Welcome 105 degrees. Here it is the 22nd of July and it hasn’t rained since June. It has been Above 95 degrees for 2 weeks and it looks like the next week as well. We just have to go on as usual.
The first thing that is fun to do in the heat is fall asleep in the cool house.
Next I recommend going to catch an outdoor musical. We saw Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. You couldn’t even tell it was 90 degrees at 8:00 at night. It was a fun show. We like to do this every year.
I would also recommend doing some manual yard work in the heat of the day. It’s good for the blood. Or maybe it is bad for the blood. I don’t remember anymore. Either way, when you are done be sure to have fun playing dress up when you are done.
And finally when all is said and done, let your hair down and swing, swing, swing. Amy’s new thing is to go on the Monkey bars. She will hang there and yell till someone comes to grab her. Naughty little monkey!
